10. Siberian Husky - The plush double coat of the Siberian husky may be beautiful, but it is also leaves hair everywhere. Shedding is one of the most prevalent concerns for husky owners, but routine grooming will cut back on shedding and leave your dog, and your home, clean and free from loose hair.

9. Pembroke Welsh Corgi - These hardy dogs have a double-coat of medium-length hair. The inner coat sheds twice a year when the season changes. They will completely shed the inner coat during the spring.

8. Labrador Retriever - Labrador Retriever shed moderately. Shedding is a normal process to naturally lose old or damaged hair. Brushing will reduce shedding as well as make the coats softer and cleaner.

7. Great Pyrenees - Even though its coat is fluffy, it should never be shaved off. It will shed during the year, so you’ll need to brush often – one or more times per week. Due to the excessive shedding, the Great Pyrenees stays clean and doesn’t require much bathing.

6. German Shepherd - Their coat is comprised of two basic sections – the outer coat and the undercoat. considered to be very heavy shedders. They will shed bits consistently year round and then have two heavier shedding seasons each year.

3. American Eskimo - Heavy shedding. American Eskimo Dogs shed a LOT. You'll find hair and fur all over your clothing, upholstery, carpeting, under your furniture even in your food.

2. Alaskan Malamute - Twice a year, they loses their undercoat. This shedding period is so intense that it will last up to three weeks, and during this time, all its hair will fall off. You will find hair all over your house, in small and big clumps.

1. Akita - They are ‘double-coated’ breed meaning the Akita has an undercoat, they lose all their fur twice a year we call this ‘blowing/shedding’ not ‘malting’ and for newcomers to the breed it can be quite a shock just at the sheer amount of fur that comes off them!
