Kermit did not frequent the social network with child-friendly banter, however. The character was enlisted to deliver unfortunate news followed by the phrase, “But that’s none of my business.”

Featuring Kermit sipping tea, milk or laid out on the floor, the memes flooded Instagram timelines with comical references to relationships, sex, everyday life and even Jeremy Meeks himself. And in similar fashion to most ratchet Internet trends, Kermit’s “none of my business” memes landed their very own profile. The Game included the following caption when he shared the page with his followers:

“FOLLOW @thatsnoneofmybusinesstho ASAP !!!! I don't know who started this shit but you took over IG today,” with a series of laughing emojis.
