Jeremy Thomas founded Recorded Picture Company in London in 1974, and has since produced over 70 films including Bernardo Bertolucci’s epic The Last Emperor, winner of 9 Academy Awards including Best Picture. RPC’s body of work is characterised by its director relationships with cinema greats such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Nicolas Roeg, Nagisa Ôshima, Jerzy Skolimowski, David Cronenberg, Matteo Garrone and Takashi Miike, amongst many others. In the UK, RPC has produced films by Ben Wheatley, Jonathan Glazer and David Mackenzie.
