The Crane Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and maintenance of critical habitat for the endangered whooping crane, sandhill cranes and other migratory birds along the Platte River in south central Nebraska.

With more than 10,000 acres of vital habitat under its wings, the Crane Trust is a testament to the lasting good that can be achieved when people of different interests and good will come together to act on behalf of one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on the planet—and the wildlife that depend on it to survive. Established in 1978.
